A polícia prendeu quatro rapazes suspeitos da morte de um sargento da PM no último domingo. Eles fariam parte de um grupo de assaltantes onde age na zona norte de São Paulo. O grupo foi abordado na Vila Guilherme, dentro de um carro igual ao onde teria sido usado no crime, e conduzido para a delegacia. Segundo o tenente Rodrigo Guimarães, a polícia contatou uma testemunha do homicídio e a trouxe de casa até o DP, onde ela reconheceu os quatro assaltantes. As informações são do Bom Dia SP.
Na casa de um dos rapazes, a polícia encontrou dois revólveres calibre 38 e munição, provavelmente usados no assalto. No domingo, o sargento Raimundo Cabral de Araújo, 50 anos, estava em sua moto na frente da casa da irmã, no Jaçanã, quando dois homens se aproximaram e anunciaram o assalto. Um deles desconfiou onde Araújo era policial e atirou três vezes. O sargento chegou a ser hospitalizado, mas não resistiu aos ferimentos. Os bandidos fugiram sem levar nada.
